For the first time in my life, I decided to try and modified the trigger pull on one of my 1911s. The sear and disconnector are already set up for a good trigger; that leaves the sear spring. Unfortunately, pulling the disconnector arm of the spring is one of the means to improve the trigger pull. You know what happens when you mess it up? Assault pistol; fully auto!

After modifying the trigger, I went to the range. I fired the first 10 mags, with only 2 rounds in the mag each. Well, it came out good.....nice and light, no creep; and most importantly, no fully auto : ) I am getting a little braver : )
