There is a small niche of hobbyists that enjoy the 37mm flare launchers for launching pyrotechnics, smoke grenades, paint cartridges, etc. Some even paper them as a destructive device (DD) so that they can run buckshot and other loads through them. Anyway, I've never taken the plunge, as I don't know if it would be all that fun.

Anyone running 37mm guns? What was fun? What is not so much?

    Thanks.

I don't necessarily have a 37mm gun nor have I used one in action. I have been browsing through Google and found a image of one. It would be a joy to shoot some of those 37mm shells and destroy something.

hehe. No, I don't mean light artillery. I mean those civilian legal 37mm launchers:

They can fire smoke, noise makers, flares, etc. If one Form 1s them and registers it as a destructive device (DD), at least here in the US, they can run really gonzo buckshot loads.
