I've only seen rifles with either scopes or sights, but never both. Mind you I haven't seen that many but I was hoping there would be one because I prefer sights and it would be nice to be able to remove the scope if needed and just be left with the sight.

The only air rifle I own is a stoeger X20

I've seen some elevated rails that allow you to look under the scope and use back up iron sights. There's also quick detach rail mounts that allow you to remove a scope and use iron sights. I've never used them but check out A.R.M.S. throw lever mounts for starters. Combine one of those with Magpul MBUS back up sights and I think that's pretty close to what you're thinking of.

I personally think that it is important for new shooters in particular when using optics to have the iron sights still attached, just until they get used to firing at the very least.
